The Wildschönau is a very wide spread high valley in the Kitzbüheler Alps, away from transit traffic and mass tourism. There are in total four villages that make up the valley, all of them are easily reachable from the Inntal.
The skiing area Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau measures in total 109km of slopes (145km in sporty turns) and 47 lifts. The slopes are perfectly prepared and offer the best skiing experience and big fun on the slopes. With only one skipass all of the lifts in the skiing area Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau can be used. There are slopes ready for each type of skier from beginner to professional. Beginners can also find practice slopes and lifts in the valley the experts can dare to go down the black slopes.
At the family park Schatzberg the atmosphere is small, nice, chilled and familial. The park is located at the Schatzberg right by the Thalerkogllift. Snowboarders, beginners and pros can try out the obstacles or hang out in the snow. The crew shapes the park 3-4 times a week. You can also find loads of powder slopes in the skiing area.
One thing you will not experience in the Wildschönau is boredom! No matter if skiing or snowboarding, the various slopes at the skiing area Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau offer something for every skier. Offpiste there are many other activities: 40km of winter hiking paths that wind through the valley, cross-country skiers have about 50km of tracks at their disposal and there is toboggan fun for the whole family with three different toboggan runs!
